Delivery Charges

Our delivery charges are as follows:

Mainland UK
Order value of £50 or more - Free Standard Delivery
Order values of less than £50.00 - £4.95 (or £2.00 for the small items)
Express Delivery - £6.95

Channel Islands - £14.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)
Highlands & Islands of Scotland - £10.95 (or £2.00 for the small items)
Isle of Man - £12.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)
Isles of Scilly - £12.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)
Northern Ireland - £8.95 (or £2.00 for the small items)
Republic of Ireland - £17.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)
France - £16.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)
Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg - £15.95 (or £4.95 for the small items)

Other destinations
For orders to be shipped to no listed destinations (called "Other"), we will advise the shipping costs within 24 hours of receipt of your order and ask if you want to proceed.

Collect In Store

Buy Online Colelct In Store IconWhen placing an order on our website you have the option to collect your order from one of our shops (Banstead, Cobham or Reigate). There is no delivery charge for this service. You will receive an email informing you when your order is ready for collection, you can then go along to your specified shop and ask any of our sales staff to help you (hopefully avoiding any queues). All you need to tell us is that you ordered online, show your order confirmation email and show us some form of id.

You can expect your item to be ready for collection between 1-2 days for orders placed between Sunday and 4pm Thursday but it could be 3 days over a weekend (subject to stock availability).
(Please note that when placing your order the delivery address will appear as your invoice address).

How will my order be delivered?

We use a variety of delivery methods. Depending on the size, weight and value of your parcel we will either despatch by:

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Postage - We tend to use this service for only the very smallest of parcels (at the reduced shipping cost) that will fit through a letter box
  • Parcel Force - This is the service we use most and Parcelforce will require your shipment to be signed for. We strongly recommend that you have your parcel delivered to an address where someone can sign for it (e.g. a work address or a neighbour). We can take instructions for deliveries to be left with no signature (a 'no signature required' label will be attached to your parcel), but this is entirely at your own risk - we cannot take any responsibility whatsoever for parcels that go missing or astray if they have not been signed for.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Under normal circumstances, and assuming everything is in stock, we aim to despatch goods within five working days (or within 48 hours for express delivery) of receiving your order and depending on the delivery method we use, your order will then usually take another two days or so to arrive. So in an ideal world your order will be with you within about 7 working days.

Sometimes, however, if we're running a bit behind things may take a bit longer. Your confirmation e-mail will let you know if this is the case.

If you're at all concerned about the timescales of your order (for example if you're buying as a gift), please do not hesitate to contact us.

How do I know if my goods are in stock?

We have over 1,000 lines listed on the website and have most items in stock, but occasionally, as we have two shops and the website, we run out of stock. If this is the case we'll contact you, usually within 48 hours, to let you know.

Don't worry, we NEVER take payment from your card until your order is despatched, so if we're out of stock you are of course free to cancel and won't have been charged anything.

Do you deliver at weekends?

Unless your order is sent by Royal Mail 1st Class, it will not be delivered at a weekend.

We can arrange for Saturday delivery if you require something urgently, assuming your items are in stock, but this will cost more than the standard delivery rates listed on the website. If you'd like a Saturday delivery please contact us for further information.

Do you offer express delivery?

Even though our normal service is fast, we also offer express delivery (for mainland UK deliveries only). The cost of this service, regardless of parcel size or weight, is £6.95.
If we do not have the item in stock we will inform you and will refund the difference between our standard delivery charge.

Place your order before 12 noon Monday to Thursday and we'll despatch your parcel on our express service for delivery the following working day. We can't make weekend deliveries so orders placed before 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Monday and orders placed after 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Express deliveries aren't made on bank holidays.
We're unable to specify a time for express deliveries, delivery can take place anytime between 8am and 9pm and all express delivery parcels will need to be signed for on delivery. Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly or the Scottish Highlands and Islands Express delivery isn't guaranteed to certain remote areas. Where applicable, deliveries will be completed as quickly as possible.
