Kyoto is Green Pan's popular range, lighter in weight than their other ranges- but the Thermalon Rocks coating is certainly heavy duty. This advanced ceramic non-stick is made from silica, withstanding temperatures up to 450 degrees. But of course the benefit of the superior heat conductivity of Kyoto is being able to cook at low temperatures, using less energy.
The Bakelite handles make the pans oven safe to 180 degrees and they are easy to clean.
We like them for their manageability, great for things like stir fry.
