When Bodum was asked by The British Tea Council to develop a new way of brewing tea, the result was the Assam Tea Press. Simply tip your tea leaves into the stainless steel filter and pour in boiling water. Then watch the water through the see through pot to judge your preferred colour and when you're happy press down the plunger. The silicone plunger locks the tea leaves to the bottom of the filter preventing water from reaching the leaves and therefore stopping the brewing process. The pot is made from borosilicate glass which is extremely durable and never clouds, even after years of use and being put in the dishwasher.
