This Demeyere Atlantis Steamer is for use on any Demeyere pan/pot that has the same diameter.
Why we love it:
- It has a rubber gasket around the base which forms a seal around the top of the pot underneath so that no steam escapes, making the steaming process more efficient and quicker.
- The gasket is replaceable. Under intense use you will need to replace it after about 2 years, most of us replace it every 4/5 years.
- Multiple steamers can be stacked on top of one another so you can steam an entire meal all at once, e.g. potatoes on the bottom, vegetables in the middle and fish at the top!
- Steaming is one of the healthiest ways to cook food - it maximises taste and colour and retains nutrients.
