The DOT comes equipped with a 114mm penetration probe featuring a durable 1.2-meter stainless steel braided lead, allowing you to safely monitor temperatures from outside a hot oven or smoker.

This versatile probe accurately measures temperatures across an impressive range of -50 to 300°C, accommodating virtually any cooking method.

Using it couldn't be simpler: set your target temperature with the intuitive arrow buttons, insert the probe into your food, and place it in the oven or BBQ. The external unit displays both current and target temperatures on its large, backlit screen, allowing you to easily track cooking progress. When your food reaches the perfect temperature, a loud 70dB alarm alerts you immediately—ideal for busy kitchen environments where multiple tasks demand attention.

The thoughtful design includes convenient magnetic pads on the rear of the unit for secure attachment to metal surfaces, plus a fold-out stand for countertop placement.
