- Changing the filter: The CLARIS Smart filter has an integrated RFID chip that continuously records filter use and alerts you when the filter capacity has been used up. The machine detects the filter automatically and routes water through it.
- Descaling: Scale is the biggest enemy of any appliance that uses water. Only use JURA descaling tablets, which remove scale gently to extend the life of your coffee machine.
- Cleaning the machine: Regular cleaning extends the life of your coffee machine and keeps the coffee quality at the highest level. Only use JURA cleaning tablets, which are specially designed to work with the cleaning programme.
- Cleaning the milk system: Clean the milk system every day if you have been preparing milk. It only takes about two minutes. Only use JURA milk system cleaner, which is specially formulated for the job.

Q: Can I connect it to Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. The Wi-Fi Connect transmitter is supplied as standard, and the machine is compatible with J.O.E. (the JURA Operating Experience app).
Q: Can I use ground coffee?
A: Yes, there is a powder chute for ground coffee.
Q: Which cleaning products should I use?
A: Only JURA water filters, cleaning tablets, descaling tablets and milk system cleaner. They are designed to work with the machine's programmes, and using other maintenance products can void the warranty.
Q: What warranty does it come with?
A: JURA's warranty runs for 25 months from the date of initial purchase and applies when the machine was bought from an authorised JURA specialised dealer. JURA decides whether to repair the machine, replace defective parts or replace the machine, and a warranty service doesn't extend or restart the warranty period. Keep your sales receipt, showing the purchase date and machine type. Damage from incorrect connection, handling or transport, repair attempts by unauthorised persons, or not following the instructions for use isn't covered, and wearing parts such as seals, grinding discs and valves are excluded.
