Part of Le Creuset's Limited Edition Holly Collection, this 26cm soup pot combines French enamelled cast iron craftsmanship with festive design details. The body features embossed holly foliage, while the lid is crowned with a distinctive gold knob rather than the standard finish. Rounded side walls make for genuinely easy stirring and satisfying one-pot cooking, whether that's a bourguignon, a bouillabaisse, or a family recipe handed down for generations.

Features

  • Embossed holly detailing: A festive body pattern with a distinctive gold knob on the lid.
  • Smooth moves: Unique curved sides make stirring easy and effective.
  • Handles like a dream: Large handles make it easy to move from hob to oven to table, even wearing oven gloves.
  • Locks in moisture: A tight fitting lid boosts moisture and enhances flavour for perfectly cooked food.
  • Ages gracefully: The enamel interior develops a natural patina that behaves like a non-stick surface, with great food release and less seasoning required.

Care

  • Before first use: Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • While cooking: Always use oven gloves when handling anything hot. Use Le Creuset silicone, wood or heat-resistant plastic tools where possible. Metal utensils can be used with care but shouldn't be used harshly or scraped over the surface. Cook on a medium or low heat and let it heat up gradually, and use the most appropriately sized hob ring, especially on induction.
  • Glass hobs: Never slide the pot across a glass-topped hob, as this can damage both the base and the glass. Always lift it on, off, or across the surface.
  • Everyday cleaning and the patina: Clean with water alone where possible, rather than soap, to help the enamel interior develop its natural non-stick patina over time.
  • Cleaning stuck-on food: Let it cool before cleaning. Wipe off any leftovers, and soak stuck-on food in warm soapy water for 15 to 20 minutes before washing. Avoid abrasive cleaners, metal scourers or stiff brushes. Dry well and store in a dry place.
  • Washing: We recommend handwashing rather than the dishwasher, to protect the enamel finish and the gold knob over time.

Questions and Answers

Q: Is it dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend handwashing rather than the dishwasher, to protect the enamel finish and the gold knob's finish over time.

Q: How should I clean it day to day?
A: For everyday cleaning, water alone is best, as this helps the natural patina develop on the enamel interior. Warm soapy water is fine for first use or for soaking off stuck-on food.

Q: Is it suitable for induction hobs?
A: Yes. Just make sure you use it on the most appropriately sized ring, as using the wrong size on an induction hob can mean it doesn't get recognised.

Q: Is this a genuine one-off design, or part of Le Creuset's regular range?
A: It's part of a Limited Edition Holly Collection, so the embossed pattern and gold knob are a seasonal design rather than a permanent part of the standard range.
