- Cleaning the exterior: Use a dry microfibre cloth, dampened for stubborn marks and dried immediately afterwards. Never submerge the mill in water or place it in the dishwasher, as this will damage the internal grinding mechanism.
- Before adding new salt: Empty the existing salt, add a tablespoon of coarse salt, adjust the grinder to fine, and grind until no more salt comes out. Remove any excess before adding fresh salt. This helps clean residue from the ceramic mechanism.
- Deep cleaning the mechanism: Unscrew the grey adjusting wheel and carefully remove the ceramic cone, keeping the spring securely in place. Wipe loose dust from the cone with a cloth or brush, then wash the cone in water. Wipe and leave to dry thoroughly before replacing.
