Daily backflushing and purging: After each espresso shot, backflush the group head (without a basket) to clear residual grounds and water. Purge the milk system after steaming to clear residual milk from the steam wand and internal pipes.
Cleaning the portafilter and filter baskets: Rinse the portafilter and baskets immediately after use under hot water. Once weekly, soak them in espresso machine cleaning solution to remove oil buildup that affects extraction quality. Dry thoroughly before use.
