Washing
Take the grater apart and handwash the body and drum in warm soapy water. We always recommend handwashing anything with a cutting edge, as dishwashers can dull blades, and the body should always be handwashed.
Safe use
The blades are extremely sharp, so keep fingers clear when washing the drum. Use it for food only, never for non-food materials.

Which drum does it come with?
One stainless steel coarse grating drum. Zyliss also makes Julienne, Puree and Universal drums that are sold separately, so you can add to it later.
Can it grate Parmesan?
The coarse drum suits soft and semi-soft cheese and vegetables. Zyliss recommends a fine drum for hard cheese such as Parmesan, and that isn't included with this single-drum version.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
We recommend washing everything by hand, drum included. The body should always be handwashed, and dishwashers can dull sharp blades, so handwashing keeps the drum cutting well for longer.
How long is the guarantee?
