Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Remove all labels and packaging. Wash the bottles and nozzles in warm soapy water or run through the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly before filling.
Filling: Remove the stainless steel nozzle and pour your chosen oil or vinegar into the bottle. Don't overfill—leave some space at the top to prevent overflow when replacing the nozzle. Replace the nozzle firmly.
Daily cleaning: Both bottles and nozzles are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm soapy water. If oil builds up inside the nozzle, soak in hot soapy water and use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clean the spout thoroughly.
Storage: Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Whilst the stoneware can withstand temperature extremes, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may affect oil quality.
For hot liquids: The stoneware is safe for hot liquids up to 260°C. If warming infused oils in the oven, remove the stainless steel nozzle first. Allow to cool slightly before handling the nozzle when serving hot liquids.
Avoiding stains: The glazed stoneware is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. If using strongly coloured oils or balsamic vinegar, rinse promptly to maintain appearance. The glaze prevents staining under normal use.
Important notes:
- These bottles are designed for oils, vinegars, and liquid condiments—not for dry ingredients
- Whilst microwave-safe, remove the stainless steel nozzle before microwaving
- Don't use abrasive cleaners or scourers on the stoneware
- Check the nozzle regularly for oil buildup to maintain drip-free pouring
