What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash only, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade and reduce its lifespan.
What's it best used for?
Vegetables, meat and fish, as well as chopping herbs or crushing peppercorns.
Which size should I choose?
The shorter 15cm blade gives more control for detailed work, while the 20cm offers more reach for larger ingredients.
In our experience...
4116 NITRO+ steel is chosen specifically for edge retention. The added nitrogen reinforcement is what helps a blade like this stay sharp for longer between sharpenings.
Brass rivets aren't just decorative. They're a traditional, functional way of securing a full tang handle, as well as being the visual signature of the Ideal Brass range.
A shorter blade genuinely gives more control. The 15cm size is specifically suited to work needing precision, while the 20cm trades some control for reach and momentum.
