What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash and dry immediately, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade over time.
What's it best used for?
Removing bones, skinning meat and poultry, and trimming tendons and fat during meat preparation.
Which size should I choose?
The 14cm suits more detailed work, while the 16cm gives a bit more reach for larger cuts.
In our experience...
A pointed tip is what makes fine boning work possible. It's specifically shaped to get into joints and around bone in a way a rounder tip couldn't manage as precisely.
A WÜSTHOF blade is built to stay sharp for longer than most. Laser-guided PEtec sharpening and edge geometry mean it holds its edge around twice as long as ordinary knives, reducing how often it needs resharpening.
This is a genuine companion piece to a carving set. For professional carving in the kitchen or at the table, pairing it with a proper carving set rounds out the toolkit.
