Sustainability starts off small. Good news for your small leftovers: From now on they won’t end up as waste! The vacuum bags from the FRESH & SAVE vacuum storage system are quickly to hand if you’ve bought too much or haven’t eaten enough. But that’s not all.
Like the other bags from the series, the little one is perfect for sous vide cooking and for quickly marinating food – for the grill, for example. Using the vacuum bag is child’s play: Fill with food and close the bag using the zip. Now attach the smart vacuum pump (sold separately) to the corresponding valve on the bag. Once it’s docked, it extracts the air from the bag in just seconds and stops automatically when the right amount of vacuum has been generated. The only thing left to do is press the push button in the middle of the red silicone valve to seal it securely: Aromas and vitamins are safely preserved and food stays fresh up to five times longer!
The vacuum bags can be used as dump bags for your prepped slow-cooking ingredients. Whether you're chopping vegetables to freeze or searing meat portions ready for the slow cooker, they are ideal for batch cooking advance preparation.
