The Barista Touch brings genuine espresso bar performance into your kitchen without the space demands or learning curve. The integrated conical burr grinder delivers freshly ground coffee on demand, whilst the 15 bar Italian pump and 9 bar extraction create the deep, complex flavours that proper espresso is known for. The automatic steam wand froths milk to silky microfoam in seconds, or you can hand texture like a proper barista if you fancy the control. The touch screen means no complicated levers or dials: adjust your coffee strength, milk temperature, and texture to suit your taste, then save up to 8 personalised recipes for next time. With ThermoJet heating reaching temperature in 3 seconds, there is very little standing between you and a properly made coffee.

- Automatic milk texturing: Steam wand froths milk to silky microfoam (one million micro bubbles per ml) with adjustable temperature (40-75°C) and 8 texture levels, or switch to manual for hands-on control.

What Customers Ask About This Product
Do I need to be a barista to use this machine?
No. The touch screen and automatic milk texturing handle the technical work for you. If you just want a flat white, you press a button and it happens. But if you want to tinker with grind, temperature, and texture, the machine gives you that control. It meets you wherever you are.
What's the difference between automatic and manual milk texturing?
Automatic texturing froths and pours for you in seconds. Manual texturing gives you the steam wand and a jug, so you control the pour angle, height, and duration like a café barista. Automatic is faster and more consistent; manual is more tactile and flexible if you're experimenting.
How much space does it actually take up?
At 32cm square and 41cm tall, it's genuinely compact for a machine with a built-in grinder and steam wand. It won't disappear into a small kitchen, but it's smaller than most traditional espresso setups and designed to live on your worktop without dominating it.
What's included in the box?
The machine comes with everything you need to start: portafilter, single and double wall baskets, stainless steel jug, grinder, steam wand, integrated tamper, Dosing Funnel, Razor precision dose trimming tool, water filter, cleaning kit, and a water hardness test strip. You don't need to buy extras to get started.
In our experience...
ThermoJet heating actually matters for consistency. Traditional heating systems take 10-15 minutes to stabilise temperature. ThermoJet reaches optimal temperature in 3 seconds, which means every shot extracts at the same temperature regardless of how long between pulls. Consistency is what separates good espresso from mediocre.
Freshly ground coffee is a non-negotiable for espresso. Pre-ground coffee loses aromatics and oils within minutes of grinding. An integrated grinder means you're grinding seconds before extraction, which is why proper espresso always tastes better made at home than from pre-ground. This machine takes that guesswork out.
Microfoam quality defines a proper flat white or cappuccino. Milk with one million micro bubbles per ml has a completely different texture and mouthfeel than large bubbles. It integrates with the espresso rather than sitting on top. The automatic steam wand creates this consistently, which is harder than it sounds on manual machines.
A 54mm portafilter is the professional standard for a reason. Larger portafilters hold more coffee and distribute heat more evenly than smaller sizes. At 54mm, this machine uses the same size as café espresso bars, which is why the extraction quality is genuinely comparable to what you'd get from a professional setup.
Being able to save custom recipes removes the daily decision-making. If you like your morning espresso at a specific strength and temperature, you save it once and just press the button. No remembering adjustments, no inconsistency from one day to the next. That small thing makes the machine feel less like work and more like a ritual.

Care & Use Instructions
Daily backflushing and purging: After each use, backflush the portafilter (without a basket) to clear residual grounds. Use the automatic steam wand purge function to clear milk immediately after steaming. This prevents dried milk and grounds from building up inside the machine.
Cleaning the portafilter and baskets: Rinse the portafilter and baskets immediately after use. The baskets are easier to handle than most and rinse clean quickly. Once a week, soak them in espresso machine cleaning solution to remove oil buildup that affects extraction.
Steam wand maintenance: Wipe the steam wand clean immediately after steaming milk. The automatic purge function clears most buildup, but hand wiping with a damp cloth prevents milk from drying on the tip. Weekly, soak the wand tip in hot water and cleaning solution.
Water tank and filter care: Empty and rinse the water tank weekly. Replace the ClaroSwiss water filter every 2 months or when flow rate slows. Use the included water hardness test strip to monitor mineral content and descale the machine every 3-6 months depending on your water hardness.
Grinder maintenance: The conical burrs are low-maintenance, but coffee oils accumulate over time. Run the grinder through a cleaning cycle monthly using grinder-specific cleaning granules (not included). Never immerse the grinder housing in water.
