The Black+Blum Food Flask Olive is built to keep a proper meal at the right temperature, hot for up to 6 hours or cold for up to 8. The 304 stainless steel body is vacuum insulated, with a stainless steel surface on the underside of the lid so no plastic ever touches your food. It comes with its own ergonomic spoon, held in place by an elastic, machine washable strap, and its wide opening lets you fill closer to the flask's maximum temperature for better heat retention.

What Customers Ask About This Product
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
The spoon is dishwasher safe, but the pot and lid should be hand washed only.
Is it microwave safe?
No, it's made from stainless steel and is not microwave safe.
What should I avoid using it for?
Don't use it for milk products or baby food, and avoid keeping perishable food in it for a prolonged period.
What if I can't get the lid open?
Wait for the food to cool, up to 6 hours, rather than forcing it. Forcing the lid can break it or cause hot food to spill out.
In our experience...
Pre-heating or pre-chilling genuinely matters. A 5 minute fill with hot or cold water before use makes a real difference to how long it holds temperature.
The wide opening is a deliberate design choice. It lets you fill closer to the flask's maximum safe temperature, rather than just being for convenience.
Hand tightening only is important. The lid needs a firm hand-tighten without extra force, since extreme temperatures can make it harder to open later.
It's not meant for milk or baby food. The manufacturer specifically advises against this use, even though it's a food flask.
A stuck lid is usually just a vacuum, not a fault. Letting the food cool naturally resolves it far more safely than forcing the lid.
