Joseph Joseph SinkTech Soap Dispensing Brush + Dock
This full-length dish brush streamlines washing up by combining soap dispensing with effective scrubbing in one tool. Press the button on the handle to release liquid soap directly into the stain-resistant bristles, eliminating the need to reach for a separate bottle mid-wash. The integrated pan scraper tackles stubborn, baked-on food without switching tools, whilst the extended handle provides comfortable reach for large pots and deep containers.
The included stainless-steel dock keeps your sink area organized and hygienic. Its integrated drip tray catches excess water whilst non-slip feet secure the stand in place on your worktop. As part of Joseph Joseph's SinkTech system, replacement heads are available separately, extending the handle's lifespan and reducing waste.

What Customers Ask About Joseph Joseph SinkTech Brush + Dock
How does this differ from the palm brush version?
This full-length brush features an extended handle (28.7cm height with dock) that provides better reach for large pots, deep containers, and general dishwashing. The palm brush offers a compact, ergonomic design for more direct pressure on stubborn spots. This version suits those who prefer traditional brush handling and need extended reach, whilst the palm brush excels at detailed scrubbing tasks.
Why does the dock have non-slip feet?
The non-slip feet prevent the dock from sliding across your worktop when you're placing the brush back in the stand or removing it for use. This keeps the dock stable and positioned where you want it, even on wet or smooth surfaces. The feet also slightly elevate the dock, improving drainage into the drip tray.
How much soap does the handle hold?
Joseph Joseph doesn't specify the exact reservoir capacity. However, the full-length handle design typically holds more soap than the compact palm brush version, requiring less frequent refilling. You'll develop a refilling routine based on your washing-up frequency. To refill, twist off the brush head and add liquid washing-up soap directly into the handle reservoir.
Can I buy replacement heads separately?
Yes. Joseph Joseph manufactures replacement heads for the SinkTech system, allowing you to replace only the brush head rather than the entire unit. This extends the handle and dock's lifespan whilst reducing waste. Contact us for current availability of replacement heads, which may include different bristle types or scrubbing attachments suitable for various cleaning tasks.
Will thick washing-up liquid clog the system?
Very thick or gel-based detergents may dispense more slowly and increase clogging risk. Joseph Joseph recommends flushing the soap-dispensing system regularly with warm water to prevent clogs. If you prefer thick detergent, dilute it slightly when refilling the reservoir, or flush the system more frequently to maintain smooth operation.

Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Wash the brush with warm soapy water. Wipe the stainless-steel dock with a damp cloth. To fill the soap reservoir, twist off the brush head by rotating anticlockwise, add liquid washing-up soap to the handle, then reattach the head by twisting clockwise until secure.
During use: Hold the brush by the handle and press the button to release soap into the bristles as needed whilst scrubbing. The extended handle provides comfortable reach for large pots, deep containers, and general dishwashing. Use the integrated scraper edge for stuck-on food before scrubbing with the bristles.
Daily cleaning: Wash the brush by hand with warm soapy water after each use. Rinse thoroughly to remove food particles and soap residue from the bristles. Place the brush back in the dock with bristles facing down to allow water to drain into the drip tray.
Preventing clogs: Flush the soap-dispensing system regularly with warm water to prevent clogging, especially if using thick or concentrated detergents. To flush, remove the brush head, run warm water through the handle opening, and press the button repeatedly to clear the internal mechanism.
Cleaning the dock: Empty the drip tray regularly by tipping out collected water. Wipe the stainless-steel dock with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads that may scratch the finish. For water spots, use a microfibre cloth with a small amount of white vinegar, then buff dry.
Maintaining non-slip feet: The non-slip feet keep the dock secure on your worktop. Wipe the feet occasionally to remove any residue that might reduce their grip. Check that the feet remain intact and replace the dock if they become damaged or worn.
Replacing the head: When bristles become worn, splayed, or lose effectiveness, replace the brush head. Twist the old head anticlockwise to remove, align the new replacement head with the handle, and twist clockwise until tight. Ensure proper attachment to prevent soap leaks during use.
Storage: Keep the brush in its dock between uses. The elevated position promotes air circulation around the bristles, encouraging faster drying and preventing bacterial growth. The non-slip feet keep the dock positioned securely beside your sink for convenient access.
Avoid: Dishwashers, as heat may damage the soap-dispensing mechanism and bristle integrity. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners on the stainless-steel dock. Avoid extremely thick or gel-based detergents that may clog the dispensing system more readily than standard liquid soap.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I've used it and don't like it?
Return it anyway. Our no quibble guarantee covers used items - if it doesn't meet your needs, we'll refund you. This applies even after you've used the brush and dock for washing up. We've offered this guarantee since 1972 because we believe customers shouldn't take a risk when purchasing homeware.
How does the Half-Price Replacement guarantee work?
Valid for 2 years from purchase date. If you accidentally damage the brush handle or dock, we'll replace it at half price with proof of purchase and evidence of damage. Photos are acceptable. Normal bristle wear isn't covered as replacement heads are available separately, but accidental breakage of the handle or dock qualifies for the guarantee.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses can take up to 7 working days, but is usually 3-4, and is free for orders over £49. Next day delivery may be available for £9.95 on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday, depending on your location and our stock levels. You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.
Does the dock take up much worktop space?
The dock measures 9.4cm wide x 9cm deep, making it compact enough for most worktops whilst still providing stable support for the full-length brush. The non-slip feet keep it securely positioned beside your sink without sliding, and the drip tray catches water to prevent pooling on your worktop.
How often should I empty the drip tray?
Empty the drip tray when water accumulates, typically after several uses or once daily if you wash up frequently. Regular emptying prevents overflow and maintains hygiene. Simply tip the collected water into the sink and wipe the tray if needed before replacing the brush in the dock.
Can I use this for non-stick cookware?
The bristles are suitable for most non-stick surfaces when used with appropriate pressure. However, the integrated pan scraper should be tested carefully on non-stick coatings, as some may be sensitive to rigid scrapers. For delicate non-stick finishes, use the bristles alone and reserve the scraper function for standard cookware.
What type of liquid soap works best?
Standard liquid washing-up soap provides the best results. Very thick, gel-based, or highly concentrated detergents may dispense more slowly and increase the risk of clogging. If you prefer concentrated detergent, dilute it slightly when refilling the handle reservoir, and flush the system regularly with warm water.
Will the stainless-steel dock rust?
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion under normal use. Keep the dock clean and dry between uses, and empty the drip tray regularly. Avoid leaving the dock in standing water or exposed to harsh chemicals. If water spots develop, wipe with a microfibre cloth and white vinegar, then buff dry.
