Taylors Eye Witness was originally opened by John Taylor in 1820, who was then granted the use of their trademark ‘Eye Witness’ which is said to have been inspired by Shakespeare’s Henry the 4th, meaning ‘high quality’. 150 years later, they are renowned for making high-quality knives handcrafted with the finest materials available, each made by hand from start to finish in their factory on Milton Street in Sheffield.
