Never submerge the mill in water or place it in the dishwasher, as this will damage the internal grinding mechanism.
Refilling: The top-fill design allows you to add coarse sea salt or rock salt without dismantling the base. Simply unscrew the top, add approximately 100g of coarse salt, and replace the cap. Do not use fine table salt as it will not grind properly.
Adjusting grind size: Turn the grey adjusting wheel at the top of the mill. Tightening the wheel creates a finer grind, whilst loosening produces a coarser grind. Adjust according to your cooking or serving needs.
