Quick Overview: The Joseph Joseph Multi-Grip Mandoline slices fruit and veg evenly, with a precision food grip that keeps fingers away from the blade.

A compact handheld mandoline for quick, even slices. Its precision food grip holds food three ways, so your fingers stay clear of the sharp stainless steel blade from the first slice to the last.

  • Precision food grip: Pinch grip for small items, centre grip for round slices and flat grip for longer slices.
  • Three slice thicknesses: Choose the thickness to suit the dish.
  • Protective guard: Keeps fingers away from the blade.
  • Non-slip tip and easy-grip handle: Rest it on a bowl or board and it stays put.

What Customers Ask About This Product

Which grip should I use?

Use the pinch grip for small items like radishes or garlic, the centre grip for round slices of cucumber or carrot, and the flat grip for long slices along a courgette or potato. Each grip keeps your fingers behind the guard.

Can I slice straight into a bowl?

Yes. Rest the non-slip tip on the edge of a bowl or board and the slices fall straight in, which saves washing up.

In our experience...

Always use the guard. Mandoline blades are sharp enough to cut skin before you feel it. Use the food holder for every slice, especially the last few centimetres.

Even slices cook evenly. Slices of one thickness all cook at the same rate, which is why a mandoline gives crisper gratins, crisps and stir-fries.

Firm produce slices best. Potatoes, carrots, cucumbers and apples hold their shape on a mandoline; very soft fruit like ripe tomatoes is better cut with a knife.

You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.

Can I collect this item instead of having it delivered?

Yes. You can collect from our Reigate shop (72 High Street, RH2 9AP), our Cobham shop (16 Anyards Road, KT11 2JZ), or our warehouse in Redhill (40 Ormside Way, RH1 2LW). Republic of Ireland & Europe

Currently suspended:

It is not currently possible to deliver to the Republic of Ireland or mainland Europe. We hope to reinstate this service as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Rest of the World

If your country is not listed — including the USA, Australia, and other destinations — this is most likely because couriers charge by volumetric weight: a combination of package size and weight that makes standard online rates impractical to calculate automatically.

Please call us on 01737 222996 with the details of your order. We will advise on shipping costs within 24 hours and ask whether you would like to proceed.

Before you order internationally, please note:

All overseas shipments are at your own risk. We recommend taking out appropriate transit insurance to cover any damage in transit.

Customs forms for all international packages declare the full value and a description of the contents. Any customs or import duties levied on arrival in your country are your responsibility. Your local customs office can provide further information.

If your desired country or region is not listed, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
