What Customers Ask About This Product
Can the whole thermometer go in the oven?
No, only the probe is heat resistant, up to 300C. Do not put the whole device into the oven.
Is it dishwasher safe?
This isn't confirmed, so we'd recommend wiping clean with an anti-bacterial wipe or spray cleaner and paper towel to be safe.
Does it come with everything I need?
Yes, full instructions and a battery are included.
In our experience...
A touch-free probe release is about hygiene as much as convenience. Not needing to handle the probe directly matters when you're moving between raw and cooked food.
The built-in temperature guide is a genuinely useful shortcut. Having reference temperatures on the handle itself means less second-guessing or searching for a chart mid-cook.
The probe and the body have different heat tolerances. The probe alone is rated up to 300C, but the whole device should never go into the oven, which is worth remembering during use.
A sharp point needs the same care as a knife. It's easy to think of a thermometer as harmless, but this one should be handled and stored with the same caution.
