The GS-20 is one of three different fish bone tweezers produced by Global, and this is the most popular. At 8cm, they are the smallest chef's tweezer option compared to the 12cm GS-29. The two prongs perfectly touch each other to grip even the smallest bones without damaging delicate flesh, making sure you get the perfect fillet of fish. Recommended for use with smaller fish such as sea bass, sea bream and St Peter's.
- Precisely aligned prongs: Grip even the smallest bones without damaging delicate flesh.
- Compact 8cm size: The smallest of Global's tweezer options, suited to smaller fish.
- Hygienic one-piece construction: No dirt traps, genuinely easy to keep clean.
- Rust resistant: Built to last with regular use.
What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash only and dry immediately.
What fish is it best suited to?
Smaller fish such as sea bass, sea bream and St Peter's.
What are fish bone tweezers used for?
Removing bones from fish fillets without damaging the delicate flesh, particularly useful for professional sushi chefs and home cooks who need to debone fish quickly and efficiently. The flat tips grip the bone securely for smooth, clean removal of pin bones.
In our experience...
Precisely aligned prongs are what make fine bone removal possible. The two tips need to meet exactly to grip a small pin bone without tearing the flesh around it.
Size genuinely matters for this tool. At 8cm, the GS-20 suits smaller fish specifically, while the larger 12cm GS-29 is built for bigger fish.
One-piece construction matters more for a tool handling raw fish. Without seams or joins, there's nowhere for bacteria or residue to hide, which is genuinely important for food safety.
