Precision trimming and deboning of meats.
Is it suitable for home cooks, not just professionals?
Yes, it's designed to suit both professional chefs and home enthusiasts.
In our experience...
4116 NITRO+ steel is chosen specifically for edge retention. The added nitrogen reinforcement is what helps a blade like this stay sharp for longer between sharpenings.
Brass rivets aren't just decorative. They're a traditional, functional way of securing a full tang handle, as well as being the visual signature of the Ideal Brass range.
A boning knife's size is genuinely purpose-built. It's sized specifically for precise, controlled work around bone and joints, rather than general chopping.
