What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash only, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade and reduce its lifespan.
What's it best used for?
Cutting hard crusts and slicing any type of bread without crushing it.
Will it work on soft bread too?
Yes, the half-moon teeth are designed to slice cleanly through both hard crusts and softer bread without crushing it.
In our experience...
4116 NITRO+ steel is chosen specifically for edge retention. The added nitrogen reinforcement is what helps a blade like this stay sharp for longer between sharpenings.
Brass rivets aren't just decorative. They're a traditional, functional way of securing a full tang handle, as well as being the visual signature of the Ideal Brass range.
Half-moon teeth are a specific serration style, not a generic one. Their shape is what allows a clean cut through crust while still being gentle on the softer crumb underneath.
