What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwashing is recommended. Dishwashers can dull the blade faster and, over time, affect the handle.
What's it best used for?
Peeling, trimming, and slicing small fruit and vegetables, and other intricate detail work.
Why is a shorter blade an advantage here?
It gives more control for accurate, intricate cuts, and makes it easier to navigate around the curves and shapes of food.
In our experience...
World Edge Geometry combined with ice hardened steel is what sets Professional knives apart. Together they give a harder, more resilient blade with genuinely longer lasting sharpness than a standard edge.
A shorter blade gives genuinely more control for detail work. It's easier to manage precisely for small, careful cuts than a longer chef's or utility knife.
A paring knife earns its place as an everyday essential. Its size makes it the one most people reach for without thinking, for jobs too small or fiddly for a bigger blade.

Care & Use Instructions
Washing: Handwash recommended. Rinse to remove food traces as soon as possible after use, then wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non-abrasive brush. Avoid soaking, and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing with a microfibre cloth. Avoid scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these will scratch the surface.
Chopping boards: Use wood or soft plastic boards to keep the blade sharp for longest. Avoid glass, stone, metal or very hard bamboo, which can dull or damage the edge.
Handle care: Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil to the handle to maintain its colour, wiping off any excess.
