What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash and dry immediately, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade over time.
What's it best used for?
Precision chopping of herbs, shallots, and smaller cuts of meat, as well as general prep tasks.
Is it suitable for peeling fruit and vegetables?
Yes, its compact size and precise blade make it genuinely well suited to peeling and detail work.
In our experience...
A shorter blade gives genuinely more control for detail work. It's easier to manage precisely for small, careful cuts than a longer chef's or utility knife.
A WÜSTHOF blade is built to stay sharp for longer than most. Laser-guided PEtec sharpening and edge geometry mean it holds its edge around twice as long as ordinary knives, reducing how often it needs resharpening.
A paring knife earns its place as an everyday essential. Its size makes it the one most people reach for without thinking, for jobs too small or fiddly for a bigger blade.
