The De Buyer Mineral B Frying Pan is an iconic, carbon steel frying pan that is loved by chefs and home cooks alike, for the way it sears ingredients to perfection, from steaks to pan-roasted vegetables.

The De Buyer Mineral B Frying Pan is designed to achieve high temperatures, perfect for searing, browning, and grilling. Made of mild steel, these pans are incredibly durable and improve over time as they develop a natural 'seasoning' layer from use.

This can be easily identified by the change in colour from grey to black.

The pan is initially treated with organic beeswax to protect it from oxidation during transportation, but this must be removed prior to use to begin the seasoning process.

The handle remains cool while cooking, allowing for easy maneuvering.

Suitable for all hobs, including induction, this pan is also oven-safe for up to 10 minutes at 200°C. Any longer or hotter than this and the handle may become discoloured.

Note that this pan can also be used on open barbecues, but not on covered ones like the Big Green Egg unless the top is open.
