The G-13 is Global's first carving fork, made for Western style roasts. The sharp prongs hold the joint in place whilst you carve, and the rigid structure lets you control how you carve, for the perfect Sunday roast. The Global carving fork is made of the same materials as the regular G Series items and has the same handle, so it's comfortable and easy to use.
- Sharp, curved prongs: Hold the joint firmly in place while carving.
- Rigid structure: Gives genuine control over how you carve.
- Same handle as the G Series: Comfortable and familiar if you already use Global knives.
- Acute 15 degree cutting edge: Consistent with the wider Global Classic range.
What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash only and dry immediately, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade and reduce its lifespan.
What's it best used for?
Holding joints of meat steady while carving Western style roasts.
Is there an alternative to this fork?
Yes, the G-24 is a fully forged, flat carving fork that does the same job but stores more easily in a drawer, since the G-13 usually can't fit in a Global knife block.
In our experience...
A curved shape suits holding a joint of meat specifically. It's designed to grip and stabilise a roast, rather than the flatter profile some alternative carving forks use.
Matching handles across the G Series is a deliberate consistency choice. It means switching between the fork and other Global knives feels familiar rather than needing to adjust to a different grip.
Pairing tools makes practical sense here. Considering the G-3 carving knife alongside this fork gives a genuinely matched set for carving.

Care & Use Instructions
Washing: Handwash only and dry immediately. Sharp blades and tines should never go in the dishwasher, as it can blunt and chip the edge and dramatically reduce the lifespan.
