What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash only and dry immediately, since dishwashers can blunt and chip the blade and reduce its lifespan.
What's it best used for?
Precision cutting, slicing, trimming and peeling, particularly delicate tasks.
Are there other peeling knife options?
Yes, Global also offers specialist curved peeling knives for peeling round fruit and vegetables specifically.
In our experience...
Being the most popular petty knife in the range says something about its balance. It's a genuine sign that its size and sharpness suit a wide range of everyday detail work, not just one specific task.
Fully forged construction is a genuine durability choice. It gives more strength and balance than a stamped blade, which matters even for a smaller knife used often.
A sand-filled hollow handle is a deliberate Global design choice. It's specifically what balances the weight of the blade, giving the knife a comfortable, controlled feel rather than being blade-heavy.
