What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
This isn't confirmed, so we'd recommend wiping clean with a damp cloth rather than submerging it in water.
Is it safe to use?
Yes, the cutting wheel is designed to reduce jagged edges, though you should still take care when handling the opened can and lid, as edges will be sharp.
Does it take up much drawer space?
No, the handle folds flat for compact storage.
In our experience...
A crank handle changes how much effort opening a can takes. It's specifically designed to reduce the wrist strain that a standard turning opener can cause, especially with repeated use.
Removing the whole top, not just cutting around it, is the real innovation here. It means no sharp remaining rim left on the can itself, which most standard openers leave behind.
A safe cutting wheel doesn't mean a completely blunt edge. The lid and can rim can still be sharp once removed, so care is still genuinely needed handling them afterwards.
Folding flat matters more than it sounds for a can opener. Most kitchen drawers have limited space, and a bulky opener is one of the more awkward shapes to store.
