Coffee contains 98% water, so the better the water, the purer and less adulterated the aroma. CLARIS Blue was developed especially with modern automatic machines with a One-Touch Cappuccino function in mind. Its protective formula contains a mineral that stabilises calcium carbonate, so it is not deposited in the fluid system. It also filters many other substances that harm flavour and aroma from the water, while keeping the minerals and fluorides that matter.

What is the difference between Blue and White?
CLARIS White is for machines with a black filter holder in the water tank, whereas CLARIS Blue is for machines with a blue filter holder. Check the holder in your water tank before ordering.
How long does a filter last?
It depends on your water hardness. Each cartridge treats up to 65 l at 1-5° dH, falling to up to 40 l at 26-30° dH.
In our experience...
Steam is hard on pipes. Frequent steam preparation can cause calcium carbonate to be deposited and block the fluid system, which the protective formula is designed to prevent.
It filters out more than scale. It also removes many other substances that harm flavour and aroma.
Important minerals stay. The minerals and fluorides that matter for health and flavour are retained.
Only original cartridges match the machine. JURA says original CLARIS cartridges are matched precisely to its machines in composition and throughflow.
Tap water often contains metals. In many areas it carries traces of lead, copper, aluminium and chlorine, which the filter absorbs.

How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses can take 5-7 working days (but is usually much quicker than that), and it's free on orders over £49. Next day delivery is available for £9.95 on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday, depending on your location and our stock levels. You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.
