A tilted design is a genuine style choice, not just a stability feature. It's built to make a statement on the worktop, while the silicone feet keep it stable despite the angle.

Maximum space around each slot matters more than it seems. It protects the blade edges from knocking against each other, while still keeping every knife easy to reach.

Not every Signature knife fits this particular block. The larger 25cm cook's knife, the deep santoku, and the flexible slicing knife are all excluded, so it's worth checking compatibility before assuming a Signature knife will fit.

Care & Use Instructions

Washing: Handwash recommended. Rinse to remove food traces, then wash gently in warm soapy water with a soft cloth. No need to soak. Dry each knife thoroughly and individually, and apply a non-abrasive metal polish for the best finish. Avoid scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these will scratch the surface.

Chopping boards: Use wood or soft plastic boards to keep the blade sharp for longest. Avoid glass, stone, metal or very hard bamboo, which can dull or damage the edge.

Handle care: Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil to the handle to maintain its colour, wiping off any excess.

Caring for the block: Wipe over with a damp microfibre cloth and dry thoroughly for a quick clean. Treat regularly with a food-safe mineral oil to maintain condition, wiping off excess oil and letting it dry before using.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses can take 5-7 working days (but is usually much quicker than that), and it's free on orders over £49. Next day delivery is available for £9.95 on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday, depending on your location and our stock levels. You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.

Can I collect this item instead of having it delivered?

Yes. You can collect from our Reigate shop (72 High Street, RH2 9AP), our Cobham shop (16 Anyards Road, KT11 2JZ), or our warehouse in Redhill (40 Ormside Way, RH1 2LW). Just select click and collect at checkout. If the option isn't available, this is because there isn't enough stock in your selected collection location.
