The Zeal Silicone Heritage Circular Trivet is a compact, round trivet that earns its keep well beyond protecting worktops from hot pans. At 18cm across, it is heat resistant up to 250C, so pans and dishes can go straight from the hob onto it, and the non-slip, non-scratch surface keeps everything securely in place. Fold or grip it and it works just as well as a potholder, or as extra grip for stubborn jar lids. Finished in Zeal's Heritage design and available across their colour range, it stores flat or hangs up when it is not needed.

Is it thick enough to protect my hands as a potholder?
It's designed to double up as a potholder for lifting hot pans and dishes, though as with any silicone mat it's worth using a firm grip rather than fingertips alone on the very hottest items.

The round shape suits pans as much as dishes. Being circular, it sits neatly under saucepans and round casserole dishes without the overhang you get from a square or oval mat.
It's more than a one-job trivet. Between the potholder use and the jar-opening grip, this is one of those small items that ends up used almost daily once it's in the kitchen.
The 250C rating means no fabric mat needed underneath. You can take a pan straight from the hob and put it down without worrying about scorching, which isn't the case with cork or fabric trivets.

How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses can take 5-7 working days (but is usually much quicker than that), and it's free on orders over £49. Next day delivery is available for £9.95 on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday, depending on your location and our stock levels. You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.
