- Sized for a large pizza: Generous 35cm diameter with plenty of room for a proper sized pizza.
- Superior heat distribution: Cast iron construction spreads heat evenly for a crispy crust.
- Raised loop handles: Make it easy to handle safely on the grill.
- Low sides: Give easy access for sliding a pizza on and off.
- Ages gracefully: The enamel interior develops a natural patina that behaves like a non-stick surface, with great food release and less seasoning required.
What Customers Ask About This Product
Can I use this indoors?
It's designed for outdoor grill and BBQ use rather than an indoor hob or oven.
Is it microwave safe?
No, never use it in a microwave. It's made of metal and will damage the microwave and its wiring.
How should I clean it day to day?
For everyday cleaning, water alone is best, as this helps the natural patina develop on the enamel interior. Warm soapy water is fine for first use or for soaking off stuck-on food.
How close can flames be to the pan?
Flames must stay confined to the base area and never extend up the sidewalls, which can cause burns and damage. On a charcoal or wood fired grill, always use a rack with at least 5cm between it and the embers.
In our experience...
Cast iron suits pizza for the same reason it suits searing. It holds and distributes heat evenly, which is exactly what a crispy, evenly cooked base needs.
The loop handles are a deliberate safety detail. Raised handles keep hands further from a hot grill surface than a flat-edged pan would.
The patina is meant to build up, not be scrubbed away. Cleaning with just water rather than soap for everyday use helps the enamel interior develop the non-stick like surface it's known for over time.
450C is a genuinely serious temperature range. It reflects just how hot a proper pizza needs to cook to get a good crust, well beyond typical home oven temperatures.
Cold water is still the enemy of hot cast iron. Plunging a hot pan into cold water risks cracking the enamel, so always let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes first.

Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
While cooking: Always use oven gloves when handling anything hot. Use Le Creuset silicone, wood or heat-resistant plastic tools where possible. Metal utensils can be used with care but shouldn't be used harshly or scraped over the surface.
Cleaning: Let it cool before cleaning. Wipe off any leftovers, and soak stuck-on food in warm soapy water for 15 to 20 minutes before washing. Avoid abrasive cleaners, metal scourers or stiff brushes. Dry well and store in a dry place.
Microwave: Never use in a microwave. Cast iron products are made of metal and will damage the microwave and its electrical wiring.
Open flame safety: Flames must be confined to the base area and never extend up around the sidewalls, which can cause burns and damage.
Charcoal or wood fired grill use: Always place the product on a rack, never in direct contact with embers. Leave a minimum distance of 5cm between the rack and the embers.
