The Le Creuset 12 Cup Star Tray combines festive design with practical baking performance. Each of the 12 cups is shaped as a five-pointed star, adding visual interest to cupcakes, muffins, mini cakes, or savoury bakes. The heavy-gauge carbon steel construction ensures even heat distribution across all cups, helping to prevent over-browned edges with undercooked centres.

What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
No, handwash it instead, to protect the non-stick coating and help it last.
Can I use it on the hob or under the grill?
No, it's designed for oven use only, up to 240C.
What utensils should I use with it?
Silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools, rather than metal, to protect the coating.
In our experience...
Even heat distribution matters most across 12 individual cups. Uneven heating is what causes some cups to brown too fast while others stay undercooked, and the heavy-gauge steel is specifically what prevents that.
A star shape changes more than the look of a bake. It affects how heat reaches the mixture too, which is part of why consistent heat distribution across the tray matters.
This tray doesn't need high heat to perform well. Sticking to its rated oven temperature protects the non-stick coating without sacrificing baking results.
Thorough handwashing genuinely helps a non-stick tray last. Washing in hot soapy water after every use, rather than the dishwasher, protects the coating over repeated bakes.

Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Heat setting: Always bake at the temperature the tray is rated for. High heat gives no real benefit and is the single biggest cause of non-stick coatings failing early.
Utensils: We recommend silicone, wooden or heat-resistant plastic tools. Metal utensils are not recommended, since even a single careless scrape can cause permanent damage to the coating.
Oven use: Place on a shelf or rack rather than the oven floor, which can increase cooking temperature and lead to damage.
Washing: We recommend handwashing in hot soapy water after every use, rather than the dishwasher, to protect the coating and help it last.
Storage: If stacking with other bakeware, place a cloth or protector between pieces to avoid scratching the non-stick surface.
