What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it microwave safe?
No, it isn't suitable for microwave use.
Is the whole set dishwasher safe?
The pan and lid are dishwasher safe, but the non-stick poaching insert should be handwashed only.
How long do the eggs take to poach?
Around 3 to 7 minutes, depending on how you like them cooked.
Can I use the pan for anything other than poaching?
Yes, without the insert it works as a genuine everyday sauté pan for anything and everything.
In our experience...
The insert takes the guesswork out of poaching. Individual moulds hold the egg's shape, which is normally the hardest part of poaching to get right in open water.
The pan and the insert need different care for a reason. The pan and lid are plain stainless steel and genuinely dishwasher safe, while the insert has a non-stick coating that needs gentler handwashing to last.
It's really two tools in one. Used with the insert it's a dedicated poaching pan, and without it, it's simply a good everyday sauté pan.
A dedicated poaching tool suits more than just eggs. The moulds work well for other small, delicate foods that benefit from being held in shape while cooking.

Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
While cooking: Always use oven gloves when handling anything hot. Use the most appropriately sized hob ring, especially on induction. Cook on a medium or low heat and let it heat up gradually.
Using salt: Don't pour salt directly onto the stainless steel surface. Add it to hot cooking liquid or food instead, to avoid damage.
Oven use: Place on a shelf or rack rather than the oven floor, which can increase cooking temperature and lead to damage. When using under the grill, leave at least a 5cm gap between the heat source and the top of the pan.
Cleaning: Cool the pan for a few minutes before cleaning, and avoid plunging it into or filling it with cold water while hot, as this can cause damage from the sudden change in temperature.
Washing the pan and lid: Dishwasher safe.
Washing the poaching insert: Handwash only, to protect the non-stick coating.
