What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, you can wash and dry it by hand, or put it through a full dishwasher cycle.
Can I use it for vinegar as well as oil?
It's designed with olive oil in mind, though the stoneware construction is suited to other everyday condiments too.
Is it suitable for outdoor dining?
Yes, it's designed to work well for both indoor and outdoor dining.
How much does it hold?
It has a 0.6L capacity, enough for regular kitchen and table use.
In our experience...
Stoneware is a genuinely good material for storing oil. Unlike clear glass, it protects the contents from light, which is one of the things that degrades olive oil's flavour over time.
It's designed to move between kitchen and table. The same cruet that sits by the hob while cooking can go straight out to an outdoor dining table.
The three ring design is a deliberate style choice. It's built to match Le Creuset's iconic cast iron pots, so it looks intentional sitting alongside an existing collection.
It's built to handle real temperature swings. Thermoresistant from -23C to +260C, so it copes well with both hot and cold environments.
A dedicated cruet changes how often you actually use good oil. Having it out and ready on the counter makes it more likely to be reached for daily, rather than left in a cupboard.
