This 32cm wok brings Le Creuset's most advanced non-stick technology to the versatile world of wok cooking. Hard anodised forged aluminium construction combines exceptional durability with the rapid, even heat distribution stir-frying needs, and the superior heat conduction prevents hot spots that burn ingredients. Dual side handles distinguish this from a traditional single-handle wok, making it easy to lift safely when full and perfect for bringing straight to the table for family-style serving.
- Hard anodised aluminium: Exceptionally durable, with superior heat conduction for even cooking.
- 4x stronger non-stick: Independently tested for improved abrasion resistance, on both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Dual side handles: Easy, safe lifting, and genuine table-to-hob versatility.
- 32cm generous capacity: Ideal for family meals and entertaining.
- Sloped wok design: The traditional shape for stir-frying and tossing ingredients.
What Customers Ask About This Product
Is it dishwasher safe?
We recommend handwashing rather than the dishwasher, to protect the non-stick coating and help it last.
Do I need high heat for good results?
No, we'd actually recommend the opposite. Hard anodised aluminium conducts heat so efficiently that medium heat gives excellent results, and high heat is the main cause of non-stick coatings wearing out early.
Can I use metal utensils?
We recommend silicone or wooden utensils instead. Metal can be used with care, but even a single careless scrape can permanently damage the coating.
Can I use this for anything besides stir-frying?
Yes, its sloped sides and large surface area suit steaming, deep-frying, braising and other high-volume cooking, not just stir-frying.
In our experience...
The idea that woks need very high heat is a genuine myth for non-stick versions. Traditional uncoated steel woks can take intense heat because they have no coating to protect. This wok's hard anodised aluminium is efficient enough that medium heat, even reduced by 25-30% from what feels intuitive, gives properly seared, authentic wok results without destroying the coating.
Two handles change how the wok can be used, not just how it's carried. Being able to lift it securely with both hands means it can go straight from hob to table for family-style serving, unlike a traditional single-handle wok.
An empty wok is more vulnerable than a full one. With nowhere for heat to go, an empty pan overheats far faster than one with oil or food in it, so it should never be left heating unattended.
Thorough washing matters more for a wok than most other pans. Higher heat oils and vigorous cooking mean grease can carbonise quickly if it isn't washed properly in hot soapy water after every use, which is the second biggest cause of non-stick failure after overheating.
The sloped sides need a bit more care in storage. They're more vulnerable to scratching from anything placed inside, so it's worth using a cloth or protector if stacking it with other cookware.

Care & Use Instructions
Before first use: Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Heat setting: Always cook on medium heat, even for stir-frying or searing. Hard anodised aluminium conducts heat so efficiently that high heat gives no real benefit and is the single biggest cause of non-stick coatings failing early. If in doubt, use a lower setting than feels intuitive.
Preheating: Preheat for around 2 minutes before adding oil or food. Never leave the pan heating empty for longer than this, or unattended, as an empty pan overheats far faster than one with food or oil in it.
Utensils: We recommend silicone or wooden utensils. Metal utensils can technically be used with care, but we don't recommend them, since the coating is only microns thick and even a single careless scrape can cause permanent damage.
Induction hobs: Use a moderate setting and avoid the 'boost' function, which heats too quickly for non-stick cookware.
Glass hobs: Never slide the pan across a glass-topped hob, as this can damage both the base and the glass. Always lift it on, off, or across the surface.
Oven use: Place on a shelf or rack rather than the oven floor, which can increase cooking temperature and lead to damage. When using under the grill, leave at least a 5cm gap between the heat source and the top of the pan.
Washing: We recommend handwashing in hot soapy water after every use, rather than the dishwasher, to protect the coating and help it last.
Storage: If stacking with other pans, place a cloth or protector between them to avoid scratching the non-stick surface.
