Quick Overview: Espresso machine with auto grind-dose-tamp, dual boiler, PID temperature control, automatic milk texturing, and touch screen for specialty coffee at home.

The Oracle Touch brings professional-grade espresso engineering into a format that doesn't require months of training. The integrated grinder automatically grinds, doses, and tamps 22g into a 58mm portafilter, eliminating the variables that trip up most home baristas. The dual boiler system means you can steam milk and pull espresso simultaneously without temperature swings, whilst PID temperature control and a heated group head deliver extraction precision that rivals commercial machines. The automatic steam wand creates silky microfoam with nine texture levels and adjustable temperature (40-75°C), or you can hand texture if you want the control. The touch screen simplifies everything into three steps: grind, brew, milk. Save up to eight personalised recipes so your morning ritual is consistent every time. It's the kind of machine that makes specialty coffee genuinely accessible without compromising on the engineering that makes it taste good.

  • Auto grind, dose, and tamp: Integrated hardened steel conical burr grinder with 45 precision settings automatically grinds and doses exactly 22g into the 58mm portafilter, eliminating manual measuring and tamping.
  • Dual boiler system: Dedicated steam boiler with heat exchange and dedicated espresso boiler with PID control allow simultaneous milk steaming and espresso extraction without temperature loss.
  • PID temperature control with heated group head: Precise water temperature management across the entire system, with an embedded heated group head element maintaining thermal stability shot after shot.
  • Automatic milk texturing: Creates silky microfoam with nine texture levels and adjustable temperature (40-75°C), or switch to manual steam wand control for hands-on texturing like a barista.
  • Touch screen customisation: Intuitive interface with 5 pre-programmed café favourites, ability to create and save up to 8 personalised recipes, and shot duration clock for consistent extraction.

What Customers Ask About This Product

What's the difference between this and the Oracle Jet?

Both have auto grind-dose-tamp and automatic milk texturing. The Oracle Touch uses a dual boiler system for simultaneous steaming and extraction, whilst the Oracle Jet uses ThermoJet heating. The Oracle Touch offers nine texture levels versus eight, and more grind settings. If you value simultaneous steaming and espresso without any temperature loss, the dual boiler is the advantage.

Can I switch between automatic and manual milk texturing?

Yes. The automatic steam wand handles most of the work, but you can switch to manual control and use the steam wand like a traditional espresso machine if you want hands-on texturing. This flexibility means you can be lazy some mornings and hands-on others.

What's the shot duration clock and why does it matter?

The espresso shot clock displays how long your extraction is running. A properly extracted shot usually takes 25-30 seconds. Watching the clock helps you learn if your grind is too fine (shots run slow) or too coarse (shots run fast). It's a simple visual guide to consistency.

Is the 15 bar pump pressure actually better?

The machine uses PID temperature control to limit the 15 bar pump pressure throughout extraction, preventing bitter flavours that over-pressure can create. It's not about maximum pressure, it's about precise, controlled pressure. This is professional-grade engineering translated to a home machine.

In our experience...

A dual boiler system removes the compromise between steam and espresso. Most home machines have one boiler that either steams milk or brews espresso, not both simultaneously. A dedicated steam boiler and espresso boiler means you're not waiting for temperature to swing between functions. This is why café machines are dual boiler, and it genuinely changes workflow speed.

PID temperature control is the difference between good espresso and mediocre espresso. Temperature consistency is critical for extraction. PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control actively maintains temperature rather than just hoping it stays stable. The difference is subtle but compounds across every shot, especially with specialty coffee where precision matters.

A heated group head maintains brew temperature stability. The group head is where water meets coffee grounds. If the group head is cooler than the water, temperature drops during extraction. A heated group head element keeps it at the right temperature, which is why commercial machines have always had them.

Auto grind-dose-tamp removes the skill requirement without removing the craft. You're not learning to grind, measure, and tamp by hand, but the machine gives you 45 grind settings and PID control so you can still dial in your beans. The skill shifts from technique to understanding extraction, which is more interesting anyway.

Nine texture levels give you flexibility across different milk types. Different milks steam to different densities. Nine levels means you can dial in silky microfoam for oat, firmer texture for soy, or something in between for dairy. One generic 'froth' setting doesn't cut it once you start experimenting.

Care & Use Instructions

Daily backflushing and purging: After each espresso shot, backflush the group head (without a basket) to clear residual grounds and water. After steaming milk, purge the steam wand to clear residual milk from the pipes.

Cleaning the portafilter and filter baskets: Rinse the portafilter and baskets immediately after use under hot water. Once weekly, soak them in espresso machine cleaning solution to remove oil buildup that affects extraction quality. Dry thoroughly before use.

Steam wand maintenance: Wipe the steam wand nozzle immediately after steaming to prevent milk from drying. Weekly, soak the wand in hot water and cleaning solution. If switching between manual and automatic modes, ensure the wand is clean before changing to avoid milk residue contamination.

Dual boiler and water system care: Empty and refill the 2.5L water tank regularly with fresh water. Descale the entire machine every 2-3 months using espresso machine descaling solution and following the on-screen prompts. The dual boiler system requires thorough descaling to maintain both boilers' efficiency.

Grinder maintenance: The hardened steel burrs are low-maintenance, but coffee oils accumulate over time. Run the grinder with cleaning granules monthly to clear residual oil and grounds. Never immerse the grinder in water. Check the mini grinds bin regularly and empty to prevent buildup.

Rest of the World

If your country is not listed — including the USA, Australia, and other destinations — this is most likely because couriers charge by volumetric weight: a combination of package size and weight that makes standard online rates impractical to calculate automatically.

Please call us on 01737 222996 with the details of your order. We will advise on shipping costs within 24 hours and ask whether you would like to proceed.

Before you order internationally, please note:

All overseas shipments are at your own risk. We recommend taking out appropriate transit insurance to cover any damage in transit.
