The Dunoon Bute Coastal Birdlife Mug features finely detailed illustrations of coastal birds including the kittiwake and the puffin.

Dunoon fine bone china mugs are handcrafted in Staffordshire, England. They are produced to the highest quality using traditional methods which have been developed and refined over 3 family generations in the pottery industry.

The Bute shape holds 0.3l and is a traditional straight sided mug with a flare at the top.

Washing
Washing your Dunoon product by hand offers the safest long-term protection. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers as these can scratch. Dunoon products can be used in the dishwasher, unless they have precious metal decoration. Dishwasher detergents vary in strength and some are quite caustic in their action. Use a mild detergent and follow the instructions as to the concentration. All on-glaze decorated ceramics will eventually fade in the dishwasher.

Tea & Coffee stains
The removal of lead from glazes to meet health legislation has rendered ceramic ware more susceptible to staining. Always rinse immediately after use. A build up of stain can easily be removed with a soak in a weak solution of bleach.

Microwave
Dunoon products can be used in the microwave, except where they have precious metal decoration.
