Cleaning: Dishwasher safe. Wash by hand in warm soapy water if preferred. The spring mechanism can trap moisture, so dry thoroughly, particularly around the pivot, before storing.
What to avoid: Not suitable for direct heat. Don't force the mechanism if it feels stiff, as this can damage the spring. Store in a dry place to prevent any moisture accumulation around the pivot.
