What Customers Ask About This Product
What is it best used for?
Mixing, scraping and serving.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. Hand wash only, and don't submerge it in water, as this will cause the wood to split.
Can I use it over a direct flame?
No, keep it away from direct flame.
In our experience...
An angled edge gets into corners. It reaches into corners and scrapes the sides of pans in a way a round spoon can't.
Scraping saves waste. Scraping the sides leaves less behind in the pan.
One utensil can mix and serve. It stirs, scrapes and serves, so fewer tools come out.
Wood and water don't mix for long. Soaking or dishwashing wood is what causes it to split, which is why a quick hand wash is the way to keep it going.
Wooden utensils protect your pans. Beech wood is gentle on non-stick surfaces and other delicate cookware, so it won't scratch the way harder tools can.
