Will food stick to it?
Very little. The glaze is virtually non-stick, so baked-on cheese or pudding usually rinses away without scrubbing.
Will it stain?
Le Creuset's glaze is made to resist stains and flavour absorption. That means tomato sauces and fruit fillings shouldn't leave a mark or a lingering smell.
Can I use it on the hob?
No. Stoneware should never go on a hob or any other direct heat source, as it could crack. Use it in the oven, under the grill or in the microwave instead.
In our experience...
Individual portions cook more evenly. A small, even depth of mixture means bakes cook through at the same rate, without dry edges.
A water bath protects delicate bakes. Setting ramekins in a tray of hot water gently cooks custards and crème brûlées without curdling.
Room for more than puddings. Ramekins are just as handy for dips, sauces, nibbles and prepped ingredients.

Before first use: Remove all labels and packaging, then wash in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
In the oven: Always use oven gloves. Under the grill, leave at least 6.5cm between the heat and the top of the dish. Don't put a frozen dish into a preheated oven: put it in a cold oven and let them heat up together.
Cleaning: Let it cool before cleaning. Soak any stuck-on food in warm, soapy water for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash by hand or in the dishwasher.

How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses can take 5-7 working days (but is usually much quicker than that), and it's free on orders over £49. Next day delivery is available for £9.95 on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday, depending on your location and our stock levels. You can also collect from our shops in Cobham or Reigate, or our warehouse in Redhill.
Can I collect this item instead of having it delivered?
