With this Demeyere SECONDS Industry Square Grill Pan 5-Ply 28cm Stainless Steel, you can grill a hearty sirloin steak, salmon fillets, chicken burgers or other goodies quickly and professionally.
Demeyere are the copper pans of the 21st century - they give as good a cooking result, but are easier to use and easier to maintain.
Demeyere believe three things are essential for perfect grilling, the correct temperature, patience and a good quality grill pan without a non-stick coating.
Why we love it:
- The pan is constructed from 5 Ply Material, from the base to the top edge. This ensures that heat is conducted quickly and spread evenly across the entire pan, so every inch can be used for grilling.
- You can grill without using oil so that your food retains more flavour and nutrients. If you do wish to use oil, then just brush a little oil onto the food rather than the grill pan.
- Since it does not have a non-stick coating it can withstand much higher temperatures than a pan with a non-stick coating, without the risk of any damage. Also, any type of utensil can be used, wooden, silicone or metal without the risk of scratching the cooking surface.
- The welded stainless steel handle is comfortable to hold and remains cool to touch so there is no need for a cloth or glove.
- It is so easy to clean you can either pop it in the dishwasher or if you prefer to clean it by hand, you can use a scourer since it is stainless steel. We recommend the Lady Jane Scourer used with Demeyere's own Cream Cleaner.
Demeyere SECONDS are only available every now and then and the "defects" are usually cosmetic and very slight. We often struggle to find them!
