Quick Overview: The Le Creuset La Jardin Multibowl is a 25cm stoneware bowl with tulip, daffodil and bluebell decoration, oven, microwave, grill and dishwasher safe.

The Le Creuset La Jardin Multibowl is a 25cm stoneware bowl decorated with floral designs featuring tulips, daffodils and bluebells, part of the garden-inspired La Jardin collection. At 26.4cm across and 10.3cm deep, it is a generously proportioned bowl suited to a wide range of uses at the table, from serving salads and side dishes to holding snacks, dips or fruit. Made from specialist stoneware in Thailand, the glazed surface is scratch-resistant and thermoresistant from -23°C to 260°C, and the bowl is cleared for oven, microwave, grill and dishwasher use. The depth makes it practical for both serving and passing around the table, and the decoration makes it attractive enough to leave out between meals. As part of a seasonal range, it pairs well with other La Jardin pieces and makes a considered gift for a Le Creuset collector.

  • Tulip, Daffodil and Bluebell Pattern: The bowl is decorated with intricate floral designs featuring tulips, daffodils and bluebells, consistent with the garden-inspired aesthetic of the La Jardin collection.
  • 25cm Multibowl Format: At 26.4cm across and 10.3cm deep, this bowl has enough capacity to serve generously at the table and is designed to work equally well with hot and cold food.
  • Thermoresistant Stoneware: Made from specialist stoneware, the bowl handles temperatures from -23°C to 260°C, so it transitions comfortably from fridge or freezer to oven.
  • Scratch-Resistant Glaze: The glazed stoneware surface resists scratching in everyday use and is easy to wipe clean without marking.
  • Oven, Microwave, Grill and Dishwasher Safe: Cleared for use in the oven, under the grill, in the microwave and in the dishwasher, this bowl is as practical a piece of serveware as it is decorative.

What Customers Ask About This Product

What kinds of dishes work well in a 25cm multibowl?

The size and depth make it well suited to green salads, pasta salads, roasted vegetables, popcorn, crisps and dips, fruit, and side dishes you want to pass around the table. It also works as a mixing bowl for lighter tasks or as a serving bowl for a shared dessert. The oven-safe construction means you can take it from prep to table without switching vessels if you are cooking something like a warm grain salad or roasted tomatoes.

Can this bowl be used on the hob?

No, like all Le Creuset stoneware, this bowl is not suitable for direct hob use. It is designed for oven, grill and microwave use only and should not be placed on a gas, electric or induction hob. If you need a piece that works on the hob, Le Creuset's cast iron range would be worth exploring.

How does the 10.3cm depth compare to a standard serving bowl?

A typical large serving bowl is often around 8-10cm deep, so at 10.3cm this sits at the deeper end of that range. The extra depth helps with dishes that need containing, like salads you want to toss at the table, or snacks that might otherwise spill from a shallower bowl. It also means the bowl holds a meaningful volume despite the 25cm diameter suggesting something more plate-like.

Does this bowl pair with other pieces in the La Jardin collection?

Yes, the La Jardin collection includes other pieces with the same garden-inspired floral decoration, including the La Jardin Petite Casserole, Cappuccino Mug, 350ml Mug, Sphere Plate and Oval Serving Platter. If you are building a matched table setting or buying a gift, it is worth checking current availability across the range, as seasonal collections like this one are not always carried forward from year to year.

In our experience...

A 10cm deep bowl holds considerably more than the diameter alone suggests. People often underestimate how much a bowl holds when they see the diameter listed without the depth. At 10.3cm deep and 26.4cm across, this bowl has a generous volume that suits family-sized salads, a full bag of crisps or a large portion of roasted vegetables. It is worth knowing if you are buying it specifically to serve a certain dish.

Stoneware bowls are substantially heavier than most people expect. The density of stoneware is part of what makes it durable and good at retaining temperature, but it does mean this bowl is noticeably heavier than a standard ceramic or melamine equivalent. This is worth considering if you are buying for someone who regularly passes serving bowls around a table, or for anyone who may find a heavy bowl difficult to handle.

A stoneware bowl pre-warmed in the oven keeps hot food at temperature for longer. Stoneware absorbs heat from food before it has warmed up fully, which can cause hot dishes to cool quickly at the table. Placing the bowl in a low oven for a few minutes before filling it makes a real difference. For a serving bowl this size, it is a particularly useful habit when serving pasta, grains or warm salads.

Stoneware is not hob-safe, which surprises many Le Creuset customers. Because Le Creuset cast iron works on every heat source including induction, people often assume the stoneware range does too. It does not. Stoneware is oven, grill and microwave only and should never go directly on a hob. It is a common point of confusion and worth being clear on before buying or gifting.

Le Creuset seasonal collections are worth buying when you see them. Garden-inspired and themed ranges like La Jardin are not always repeated from year to year, and specific pieces can sell out without being restocked. If you are building a matched set across the La Jardin range or looking for a particular piece as a gift, it is generally better to buy when the range is available rather than wait.

Care & Use Instructions

Before first use: Remove all labels and packaging. Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly before use.

Using in the oven and under the grill: Always use oven gloves when handling a hot bowl. When using under the grill, leave at least 6.5cm between the heat source and the top of the bowl.

Cleaning: Allow the bowl to cool completely before washing. Wipe away any leftover food from the base and sides. If food is stuck, fill the bowl with warm, soapy water and leave it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing as usual. Wash and dry by hand, or place in the dishwasher for a full cycle.

Rest of the World

If your country is not listed — including the USA, Australia, and other destinations — this is most likely because couriers charge by volumetric weight: a combination of package size and weight that makes standard online rates impractical to calculate automatically.

Please call us on 01737 222996 with the details of your order. We will advise on shipping costs within 24 hours and ask whether you would like to proceed.

Before you order internationally, please note:

All overseas shipments are at your own risk. We recommend taking out appropriate transit insurance to cover any damage in transit.

Customs forms for all international packages declare the full value and a description of the contents. Any customs or import duties levied on arrival in your country are your responsibility. Your local customs office can provide further information.
