The Demeyere Industry Saucier/Conical Sauteuse has the distinctive shape of the tapered sauté pan, which makes it a real multi-purpose kitchen tool: the rounded transition from the edge of the pan to the base, for example, means that spoons or whisks are able to reach every corner inside the pot.

A tapered sauté pan with lid is perfect for adding the finishing touch to your culinary creations. A small pan used mainly to make sauces or to brown vegetables, is an essential in any properly equipped kitchen. In addition to preparing, mixing and reducing sauces, it can also be used to coat vegetables in butter and to caramelise fruit.

Design is an important consideration for many cooks: the Belgian designer Stefan Schoning has taken his inspiration for the impressive industrial-style Industry pan series from American cookware.
