What Customers Ask About This Product
What is it best used for?
Scooping and serving tossed greens, fresh pastas and side dishes.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. Hand wash only, and don't submerge it in water, as this will cause the wood to split.
Can I use it over a direct flame?
No, keep it away from direct flame.
In our experience...
A serving spoon scoops what a fork can't. It carries softer sides and sauces that would slip off a fork.
Wood suits the table. A beech serving spoon looks at home alongside tableware.
One set of servers goes a long way. Pairing a spoon with a fork covers most side dishes.
Wood and water don't mix for long. Soaking or dishwashing wood is what causes it to split, which is why a quick hand wash is the way to keep it going.
Wooden utensils protect your pans. Beech wood is gentle on non-stick surfaces and other delicate cookware, so it won't scratch the way harder tools can.
