EcoEgg & Why We Love Them
You might think it hard to wax lyrical about a cleaning product but that is exactly what I’m going to do right now.
I came across EcoEgg about a year ago at a trade exhibition in London and thought that they had some really unusual and apparently effective “green” products. In the fullness of time we received samples of the products we were interested in. I left my wife Babette to try the EcoEgg Laundry Egg (another excellent product and money saver) in our washing machine and went off to attack the sink with the EcoEgg Hard Surface Cleaner. I was gob smacked, stunned, shocked, surprised, amazed and in awe of the result!
Am I exaggerating? Well not a lot actually. At the time the sink in our newish kitchen was about 6 months old and I thought that it still look pretty good. After cleaning with the Eco Egg stuff it returned to finish that I remembered when it was brand new. Really quite incredible, very shiny and it repelled water almost as if it was oily.
Since then I’ve used it on our Demeyere pots and pans and (it even beats my favourite Demeyere cleaner in the degree of polish and brightness it brings to the surface) and on our glass induction hob which had marks on it that previously I’d been unable to remove.
Other things that you can use it on (but I’ve yet to try) are windows, tiles, shower screens, and it is like all EcoEgg products completely ecological and therefore chemical free. It’s made from a naturally occurring clay only found in one area in France.
Are there any downsides to this product. Yes the sponge they supply in the tub doesn’t last the course, or it didn’t in my case but they’re sending me a spare. The normal price of this 300g tub is £9.99 but our current price is £6.99 which makes it an even better time to try it out.
Like any product that you buy from us it comes with our guarantee that if you don’t like it for any reason what so ever just return it to us and we’ll refund you and that includes of course stuff that you’ve used.
